第八届哈工大-微软亚洲研究院语言技术暑期学校

在微软亚洲研究院的支持下，哈尔滨工业大学教育部-微软语言语音重点实验室于2005年举办了第一届自然语言处理技术及互联网技术暑期学校，旨在交流国际上该领域内最新理论与技术成果，引导国内各高校及研究单位的学者、研究人员创新研究方向。至今为止，哈工大-微软亚洲研究院语言技术暑期学校已经成功举办七届，均受到各界好评。哈工大-微软亚洲研究院语言技术暑期学校在举办之初就致力于邀请国内外著名专家、学者介绍国际自然语言处理技术研究领域的最新进展，包括句法分析、语义分析、情感分析、统计机器翻译、信息抽取、信息检索、自然语言生成、文本蕴含等众多广泛内容。
2013年第八届哈工大-微软亚洲研究院语言技术暑期学校将由中国中文信息学会主办，微软亚洲研究院资助，哈尔滨工业大学承办，并在哈工大威海校区举办。本届暑期学校已被教育部列入2013全国研究生暑期学校系列之一，我们将再一次为全国高校研究生和研究人员提供交流平台，邀请多位自然语言处理领域的国际专家前来讲学，其内容包括机器学习，句法分析，语义分析，统计机器翻译和情感分析等最新进展的专题讲座；同时将在暑期学校期间举办学生学术研讨会，针对参会者提交的优秀论文展开学术研讨，在这里你将有机会与国际著名专家和学者进行面对面交流，与专家和来自全国各地的学子们共同探讨新技术、新方向，获得更多课堂以外的知识，获得学术上的新灵感！

WELCOME TO 2013 National Postgraduates Summer School
The Eighth HIT-MSRA Language Technology Summer School
July 24-26, 2013 HIT Weihai Campus
The MOE (Ministry-of-Education)-MS (Microsoft) Joint Key Lab of NLP & Speech (HIT) held the first summer school on natural language processing and web technology supported by MSRA in 2005 , aiming at internationally delivering the fundamental theory and latest achievements in natural language processing and leading the innovation research among scholars and researchers from universities and research institutes. HIT-MSRA Language Technology Summer School has been held seven times so far to date, and each was well received. We devoted to inviting many world-top experts and scholars both at home and abroad to introduce the hot issues in the field of natural language processing on parsing, semantic analysis, sentiment analysis, statistical machine translation, summarization, information extraction, information retrieval, NLP generation and textual entailment, etc.
The Eighth HIT-MSRA Language Technology Summer School in 2013 will be hosted by Chinese Information Processing Society of China (CIPS), sponsored by Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA), organized by Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), and will be held in HIT Weihai Campus. This year's summer school has been added to 2013 National Postgraduates Summer School by Ministry of Education, and we will again build an exchange platform for both postgraduate students in universities and researchers and invite international experts on NLP to give lectures on machine learning, parsing, semantic analysis, statistical machine translation and sentiment analysis. We will also hold a student workshop during summer school, on which the selected excellent papers submitted by participants will be discussed between experts and participants. Here you will get the opportunities to meet and communicate face to face with the world-top experts and scholars; to discuss new technologies and research direction with students and researchers from all around the country; to learn more outside the class and obtain new academic inspiration!
